Java Mine is an adaptation of the well known game of minesweeper provided with Windows.
You must clear a field of mines represented by a checkerboard as fast as possible.
You mark out on the checkerboard the mines with flags, and discover the squares without mine.
You win the game when all the squares without mine are discovered.
Three levels of difficulty are available :
- Beginner
- Normal
- Expert
The counter on the left shows the number of flags remaining to be placed (at start, equal to the number of mines placed randomly on the checkerboard).
Commands
- Click on a square : Discovers a square. If a mine is under it, you lose the game, otherwise a number (or nothing) warns you the number of mines in the 8 squares around the discovered one(s).
- Right click on a square (or click while maintaining the <SHIFT> key pressed) : Places a flag on a square.
- Double click on a discovered square (or click while maintaining the <CTRL> key pressed) : If the number of flags placed around this square equals the number in this square, this command discovers in one click all the other squares around that one.
- The button between the two counters allows starting a new game.
