PJA - Issues with TIFF and BMP image formats |

Hello All,
I am trying to use PJA (in Lotus Notes) on a SOLARIS box. I was able to generate thumbnails of GIF/JPEG/PNG files but not TIFF and BMP files. Exploring in the PJA documentation, I found only these are the supported Image formats for PJA.
Did any of you had the necessity of handling TIFF and BMP files (on a SOLARIS box- headless). BTW, I have got XVFB (X Server Virtual Frame Buffer) installed now. I did try using Jimi (Java Image Management Interface), but just could not get it working.
Do you guys have any advise for me with PJA, especially handling BMP images (if possible for TIFF also).

I am replying to my own post so that its useful for others.
We decision to not use PJA and use Jimi instead, configure XVFB with display parameter set to 1024x768x24, and for any font.properties error, just commented out the font line in the font.properties file. The program works like a charm !!!
